Jack Murphy

Jack Murphy is originally from Novi, Michigan, and began dancing at the age of 6. After graduating high school, Jack became a trainee at the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago before attending the Juilliard School. During his time at Juilliard, he had the opportunity to dance works by Martha Graham, Ohad Naharin, José Limón, Matthew Neenan, Andrea Miller, Brian Arias, and Nelly Van Bommel.

Since graduating, Jack has worked with choreographers Jacqulyn Buglisi and Sandra Parks, and currently dances with Matthew Westerby and Catherine Tharin. Jack is excited to share his professional experience and love of dance with his students at 5678 Dance, where this is his third year teaching!
